Portage's local complement of schools includes six elementary / middle year schools and one high school. The Portage la Prairie School Division also offers the French Immersion Program from K - 9. High school students may choose between Business, University Entrance and Vocational Educational programs. All the public schools are administered by the Portage la Prairie School Division #24.
